Open SGP on Mac in Parallels

I am running Windows 10 virtually with Parallels on a MacBook Pro. I have downloaded SGP, but when I click to open it the little blue circle spins for a couple seconds and that’s it. What is wrong and how do I fix this?

Do you have ASCOM installed on Parallels as well? Other than that we’d need a log to look into it:

I have ASCOM Platform 6 installed o Parellels desktop.

I did a search of forum topics and did not find an answer.

Hi Jared… I saw someone mention the ASCOM Platform 6 sometimes has a glitch. In uninstalled Platform 6 and then re-installed it. That worked. SGP now opens normally in Parallels.
