In the control panel, under Observatory in the “Other Observatory Settings” there is a check box “At Home to Open/Close the observatory shutter”. Every time I start SGP and connect my gear, I need to check that box. I have a dome and it will always need that box checked. Is there a way for that to stick? I check the box and save the sequence and that does not keep.
I’m unsure. I have not been able to reproduce this issue and I haven’t had tome yet to understand exactly why, BUT I think I actually did find the issue you are observing. I am releasing a new beta 4.5 later today. Let me know if it works. If it doesn’t I’ll take a minute to figure out what’s happening here.
Update on this: the fix did not work. I have found out that when I disconnect the Observatory in the Sequence manager, that the “At home to Open/Close…” becomes unchecked if it was checked. Though when I connect the Observatory, it remains unchecked. Let me know if you need any logs or anything else.
That is an excellent clue. Let me take a look around there…
I was able to find the issue with that clue. I’ll be releasing a new beta this weekend.
