I was wondering with the PHD2 module if we could get the RMS data for the guiding? Like the RA, Dec, Tot fields I see in PHD2. That would be handy to see how things are going without having to pull up PHD2. The current graph we see in the module is great, but I think this would be icing on the cake. Especially for those on smaller screens.

I have always thought the same, good point! And, I would love to see the RMS values (calculated per image) logged into the FITS header for each image.

There could be dozens of guider images taken for every main image; which RMS would you use?

Seems my request got hijacked. Any thoughts and displaying current RMS values (RA/Dec/Total) in the PHD module?
Im not opposed to it. It likely won’t be in 4.5. Trying hard to keep it stable so that it can actually be released.
Totally understand wanting to get 4.5 released and limit new, potentially unstable code that drags things out. I will circle around once the dust settles with 4.5 in the stable branch.
