Plate solve invocation via a script

Is there a way to invoke a plate solve through a script which could be run at the beginning of an event?

If you’ve got it configured, the system would normally do a plate solve as part of the slew to target process…

Yes I have it configured that way now. However there are times when tracking maybe a bit off (no guiding) and I have events where I am taking a large number of subframes. I would like to “reset” the starting position of each event to avoid too much drift when later stacking images. Similar to how you can invoke auto focus.

I’m taking the silence on this question to mean plate solving is not invocable by a script.
