Something that may help with the various issues with centring, syncing, side of pier etc., would be a way to run the whole system without having to have a real sky to take images that can be plate solved.
One thing that could help with this would be a plate solving simulator. I’d imagine that it would take the position hints and use those to return a valid position.
I should be able to do something but it would help to have some idea of how to hook into SGP, some sort of API that doesn’t involve my digging into lots of source code.
