Plate solve has always worked superb but now I cannot get it to solve plate when imaging.
The Image scale is correct on both equipment user profile and control panel.
The camera details are also correct.
I can solve images taken previously but not when using a sequence. Everythings works great until plate solve where it fails but the target is exactly where it should be.
The mount parameters are also correct.
I have read the similar topic and “plate solve2 stopped solving” is very similar to my problem.
I haven’t changed anything either on my setup.
I have pointed Plate solve to the correct catalogue but I cannot find the UCAC3 anywhere on my pc and I don’t don’t where I could download it from either.
I have ran out of idea and I wondering if I need to move to a new software.

Have you given ASTAP a try?
I have tried ASTAP it works on images taken before but not when I run a sequence.

I know it is not your primary concern, but UCAC3 catalog is available on the Planewave site, as is PS2.

That said, I agree with the recommendation for ASTAP. Much faster and still accurate
