PlateSolve3 SRSlib.dll can not find

Hello

I have installed PlateSolve3 and unpack the Kepler and UD-Catalog. I could insert the Kepler Catalog to UCAC4 and UD-Catalog to Gaia DR2.

The external app look like if its “OK” but if i go to the Control Panel, it says: PlateSolve3 is not installed and missing the SRSlib.dll - but it’s in the folder as you can see!!!

The fix for this issue should be in SGPro 4.5 (beta). Can you tell me what version you are using in those screenshots?

i have tried it in 4.4.1.1441 and today in 4.5.0.1476 (Beta) too, nothing happen.

Sometimes SGPro cannot see those files because they are blocked by windows. Can you right click on the DLL and the PS3 exe files and make sure they are not blocked?

yes i have done now, and now i see “no catalog” instead “not istalled”.

The .dll was really not chaecked “unblock”! In the .exe i could not find this option!

Windows only displays it if it is blocked so if it’s not there is means it is unblocked.

Can you show me where you have configured SGPro to find your installed PS3 catalogs?

i check the Unblock Botton on, now it lock lick so…

and here are the two subfolders under the path( C:\Users\Daniel\Desktop\PlateSolve3 ) …if you mean that?

Sure, but I need to see PS3 settings in SGPro to see where you have told SGPro to find those catalogs.

where can i find the settings menu?

i installed Setup_PlateSolve3_Catalog (1) again an there is a error.

from here i downloaded the files: Dropbox

By right-clicking PlateSolve3 item in the chain solver list or clicking on PlateSolve 3’s “gear” icon

Have you attempted to restart SGPro after you unblocked the DLL file?

yes i have restart SGP

Same case happens with 4.5.0.1482 (BETA), in the plate solve chain resolver setting, it shows PlateSolve3 “no catalog”, clicking the gear icon on the right hand side, does not open PlateSolve 3 setting, but the message box to advise to unlock the 2 files, which the 2 files (exe and dll) are not blocked.

I am looking into this issue, but I do not have any answers yet. I am unable to reproduce any similar behavior and I am investigating if there are other security layers involved.

Never mind! I was able to locate the issue (I think). I am not able to verify, but I am almost certain the next 4.5 beta will have this corrected.
