I have installed PlateSolve3 and unpack the Kepler and UD-Catalog. I could insert the Kepler Catalog to UCAC4 and UD-Catalog to Gaia DR2.
The external app look like if its “OK” but if i go to the Control Panel, it says: PlateSolve3 is not installed and missing the SRSlib.dll - but it’s in the folder as you can see!!!
Sometimes SGPro cannot see those files because they are blocked by windows. Can you right click on the DLL and the PS3 exe files and make sure they are not blocked?
Same case happens with 4.5.0.1482 (BETA), in the plate solve chain resolver setting, it shows PlateSolve3 “no catalog”, clicking the gear icon on the right hand side, does not open PlateSolve 3 setting, but the message box to advise to unlock the 2 files, which the 2 files (exe and dll) are not blocked.
I am looking into this issue, but I do not have any answers yet. I am unable to reproduce any similar behavior and I am investigating if there are other security layers involved.
Tested with 4.5.0.1490 beta, the issue is fixed with PlateSolve3’s gear icon leads to the catalog folder definition box.
However, under Equipment Profile Manager → Plate Solver → Plate Solving Chain (Ordered), right click does not bring the selections to allow “move up/down” to reorder the plate solve engines.
In my case i could install PlateSolve 3 too but the Search Field shows “Not available” is this correct!? My gears are not online at time because daytime!
