Hi,
I am unable to connect to the PLL Ascom Focuse and Rotator.
Anyone else have this issue?
Kind regards
Roger

It looks like the error is coming from the ASCOM driver:
at System.RuntimeType.ForwardCallToInvokeMember(String memberName, BindingFlags flags, Object target, Int32[] aWrapperTypes, MessageData& msgData)
at ASCOM.DeviceInterface.IFocuserV3.set_Link(Boolean value)
at tr.i0()
You can try and use the Device Hub to connect to it and see if that works. Also may want to double check the properties for the driver. May also want to reach out to Thomas at PrimaLuce. I know he’s a SGP user and he can probably get you going.

Hey Jared,
Thanks for the reply. I believe I figured it out. I uploaded an older firware version to the Esatto so I could use the old PLL focus manager. Now I cant even reach it with this PLAY software. Anyone in here that happen to have the latest firmware file laying around? Prima Luce is closed for the day so wont get a reply until tomorrow from them.
Roger
I’ve had that issue before with my focusers. PLL recommend putting up the focuser before connecting to the computer. I ended up unplugging the equipment, power of the focusers, and restarting the computer. Then connected the power to the focuser, stabbing the USB to the computer and starting play and it connected.
Hi,
Thanks for your response. I did try that without success. I believe that PLAY is unable to read FW version 1.3. How do we update? lol
Wow! I apologize for not proofreading my last post. I hope you were able to figure out what I meant…I don’t “stab” my USB devices. And “putting up” is supposed to be “powering”
Looking on PLL website, they have an ASCOM driver for "up to firmware 1.3"as well as focus manager for up to firmware 1.3
They are located at the bottom of the download page under software archive.
LOL, I thought it was some underground astro slang. But I did get your point
The problem was with the Esatto itself, and I had to ship it back for repair. I used the old focus manager to upload an old FW, which messed up the Esatto.
