Thanks! I think the issue is that my field machine isn’t fast enough for a true blind solve or anything that isn’t within 5% of the actual pixel scale. In reality I always know the exact pixel scale so I just need to create separate profiles for each camera/scope combo. That is fairly easy to do.
I have been running a lot of my old images through astrometry.net and so far it has solved all of them. I only had issues with one sub of M74 only that took 436 seconds to solve. Probably because there aren’t a lot of stars in the area.

I did the solve using Astrometry net online - I think that you said it
wor ked for you also. Using all the hints from that solve it solved locally
no problem both in Elbrus and local astrometry net. (NOTE the scale
difference - I think that is what was throwing Elbrus out when I was trying
that originally with the scale on the FITS Header.
