Post event option control philosophy

Hi, during my last session, there were two objects in my sequence containing individual events. There was a gap of about two hours between the last event of the first object (A) and the first event of the next Object (B). To avoid unnecessary work of the mount during the time between objects, I selected the “Park telescope” check box in the “Post event option” (A). Unfortunately, after reaching the time limit specified for this event ((A) (exposures were not completed to 100% because the time window had expired), the telescope was not parked. The sequence was waiting for the next time window (B), but the mount continued to track during this time unattended by SGP. What is the philosophy behind the post/before event option? Does it only work after the event has ended completelly —after all the exposures have been completed?

Thank you, Rafal

Actually, the first 4.6 beta will address this issue by forcefully stopping the mount from tracking during gaps like this. We agree that trying to figure out the last even before the target’s end time is onerous here.
