I dug around and found a few 2 year old posts on this problem but wanted to see if any new ideas have come to light.
My QSI690 is getting a cooling temp error late into the night while sleeping and it will shut down the sequence and park the mount. Last night I was up to 14 twenty minute exposures when it happened. I reopened SGPRO and got it started again only to wake up an hour later to find that it happened again.
Anybody have any new data on this issue. I’m using a powered HUB which has been in use all year. I will change the cable tonight, but just wanted to run this by y’all before tonight.
If you can provide the log, we can see, specifically, what error you are getting. We probably won’t be able to do anything about it, but it will be good information to pass on to QSI.
Sure no problem. Give me a few minutes. Thank you. Upon inspection a minute ago I can see that the adapter on the power side going into the camera is a tad loose. I wrapped a Velcro strap around it and pulled it snug to the camera body so it won’t wiggle when the angle is changing.

I can’t be certain, but I think that, in this state, the CFW is reporting that it is always moving and looks to never get to a state where it reports that it is stopped. The error fetching CCD temp is probably related to this.
