Hello! After focusing, I mistakenly set the EAP focus position as zero. It had been 14000 out of a 60000 range. I know this is silly, and I was fatigued.
Is there a way to reassign the numerical value of the focus position so that it is once again at 14000? Thank you.
Google searches had lots of comments about editing the “current position” in EAF settings under the focuser tab. However, this was grayed out and could not be edited.
One entry talked about reversing the focuser direction and returning the focuser to the true mechanical zero position, then reset this as the zero point for the software, and then put focuser direction back to normal.
I did that, so, hopefully, all is well. I’ll know tonight when I can get back to tuning the new setup under the stars!
