The manual says: install ASCOM drivers (like any other driver) for your specific gear (QSI, FLI and SBIG being the exception to this rule)
So there is an exception to installing ASCOM drivers for SBIG. What does this mean? Will the correct driver for use with SGP come with the SBIG camera? Mine arrives tomorrow and I am short of time to get it completely working, since I’m leaving for a dark site on Sunday.
SBIG does not have ASCOM drivers and is natively supported in SGP. You just need to install the SBIG drivers and driver package:
