I just installed a pegasus falcon rotator. Could someone help me with the settings in SGP. I can get the rotator connected but unsue to select sky or mechanical angle. Manual sync? unsure what that means.
I have been using the Falcon rotator for a couple of years. It works great.
I assume you have the Unity Platform software loaded onto your computer. That is where SGP takes its configuration from.
In the SGP ‘Rotator’ module select ‘Sky angle’
In the platesolve I set the angle to 1 deg … which it always achieves on the second try.
I use Flacon rotaor every time I do any imaging with no problems.
