SG Pro 3.0.3.169 Startup Crash

I was using the Flat Calibration Wizard in SG Pro 3.0.3.169 to set the calibration times with the QSI 583-wsg camera, pressing start and stop. Then Windows 10 ver. 1809 blue screened. After rebooting, SG Pro would not start at all, not even the startup window. I tried using the “Sequence Generator.exe” /reset in the cmd prompt, this made no difference. I uninstalled Sequence Generator and reinstalled, no difference. I uninstalled Sequence Generator a second time and renamed the AppData/Local/SequenceGenerator to SequenceGeneratorOld and reinstalled, no difference. It did create a new SequenceGenerator directory but with no log files.

Any suggestions on how to figure out what the problem is and how to recover?

I found this in the Windows 10 application event log. .NET Runtime error.

It seems that your settings files have become corrupted. Usually, this will correct that issue (though your settings may not make it through alive):

Hi Ken,

Actually I already tried using /reset as described in your reference link, and also removing the AppData/Local/SequenceGenerator directory without success.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,
Chris

Hi Ken,

I renamed the AppData\Local\Main_Sequence_Software to Main_Sequence_SoftwareOld. SG Pro now starts up again!

Do I need to do anything to recover some functionality due to the renaming of the Main_Sequence_Software directory?

Thanks,
Chris Marney
