I assume you already know, but just in case…
AVAST is still having issues with the beta installer. It keeps putting something called ‘ASCOM CHECKER’ in its vault. I’ve never had any problems with AVAST and SGP before so I assume this is something new.
Incidentally, I can get 3.0.0.2 installed, but only by temporarily disabling AVAST.
