Hello SGP developers,
could you please explain which conditions cuase the new autofocus routine to decide that the focus can’t be determined and to throw a warning “Focus cannot be determined. Moving to start position of 15615 to reattempt. Fit quality 71%”?
I’ve been using SGP 3.1 during two nights and the autofocus worked just once. Usually I had to cancel it after a couple of attempts and set the focus position manually. The fitting curve clearly (to me) showed a good focus position, so I knew what to set the position to.
I’m using an EdgeHD 11. SGP 3.0 was usually able to complete autofocus successfully.
Does SGP 3.1 use the “Fit quality” value to make the decision about a successful auto-focus run? If so, could you please allow the user to configure the threshold?
OS: Windows 10
Ver: 3.1.0.428
Thanks,
Vitali
