Just before 23:00, downloading an image failed after working fine for hours. When I closed and reopened SGP and tried to connect gear, it froze again, and this time only task manager would let me close it down.
The freezing problem seems to be resolved. I was within about 10% of a full hard disk, and after deleting some files and making some room the freezing issue seems to be gone.

Hi Eric,
I had about 60G remaining empty, so I didn’t really think that clearing more space in the HD would do it, bit it seemed to. Rebooting the computer and restarting SGP several times did not help. I will see in a few hours if it is behaving still, but I just tried it again and it seems to have no problem connecting now. Last night would let me connect to the Canon 6D, the AP mount, but not the Microtouch focuser. At that point it would freeze. I didn’t check at the time for a hidden window, but I know that has happened to me before with the focuser. So if it happens again I will watch for it.
Strangly enough, for two nights in a row SGP froze during an image download. It has never done this before. Now that it is reconnecting no problem, I am curious to see if the freezing during image dowload has been fixed too. Both nights it worked for a few hours no problem before being unable to download.

The log file is only 500-ish lines and basically ends right after SGP started but before anything happened. This makes sense since you said it froze before connecting anything.
There’s a log entry about failing to get a Primaluce Eagle switch. Do you have one?
You might want to look at the logs from late the previous night. They should be attached too. It also froze then during download, and then refused to slew to the target, ending my night. Hopefully they might indicate something.
And I have no idea what a Primaluce Eagle switch is.
