SGP Immediately Aborts with Loss of Guide Star - No Recovery Attempts!

SGP:

Last night my sequence moved to its second target. The scope slewed to the target, and the centering operation was successful. However, due to some thin clouds, PHD2 failed to acquire a guide star.

I have SGP configured to attempt recovery every 10 minutes for many hours. However, SGP instead went into immediate abort of the sequence with no attempt at recovery. If I had not been paying attention, I would have lost the entire rest of the night.

Note that I reported this issue last year but did not receive any resolution. Please make sure that recovery settings are respected and whatever is causing this immediate abort of the sequence is fixed as soon as possible. I am unable to stay up all night to monitor for reoccurrence of this problem, and clear nights are precious and few to lose.

I am uploading last night’s log file. The events take place around [01/25/25 22:11:04.117].

Thank you, and please let me know if you need more information from me.

Best Regards,
Ben Koltenbah
