I’ve installed SGP on a second computer. If I copy the profiles and sequences I have saved on my other computer into an appropriate folder on my new computer, will they “operate” properly? I ask because sometimes software has things “going on in the background” which may affect something like copying profiles. I’m thinking of PHD2…

Yes, Sequences and profiles are designed to be 100% portable and do not belong to the machine on which they were created. The only exception to this rules is when equipment has some number of “choices” as part of its config and we cannot know what they are until they are connected at least one time. In this case, the new machine will just say so and tell you it needs to connect.
