The past few runs I have noticed in the morning that the telescope has not parked despite the checkbox being checked to park the telescope when the sequence ends. A couple nights ago the telescope had continued to guide after the end of the sequence and had just contacted the pier and stalled the mount motors when I was able to catch the issue and park it prior to any damage. The telescope parking checkbox has always worked before but now it does not. I use an AP GTO1100AE mounts and APCC Pro and guide with PHD2. I have a photo from this morning (12/22/2025) of the SGP control panel showing the checkbox to park the telescope after sequence ends being checked. I caught the issue just before contact with the pier this morning. I also have a picture from this morning showing the mount with the RA axis guided into CW up and within an inch of contacting the pier with my long AP 155 refractor and imaging train. Also, I have a pic of the PHD2 display guiding at this time as well. And can send PHD2 logs and APCC logs if that helps. This SGP log is for 12/21/2025-12/22/2025. Any help is appreciated as my long refractor makes self parking post sequence a valued safety feature for me.

Reading some of the posts here I believe the issue I have reported with my post is the same as the previous post titled “SGP End of Sequence Inactive”. I have been updating with beta releases and am running 4.5.0.1557 when I made this report.
The previous post refers to the 1554 release. I think I was running that release when I 1st noticed this as well.
Let me know if any of my screenshots or pics or logs from APCC Pro or PHD2 might help and I can send them too.
Did some more tests and noticed in all the logs they all have a line which states the ‘User cancelled end of sequence options’ although I did not and im sure none of you did either, they’ll sort it i have no doubt.
Yes, thanks for the report. I am having difficulty getting this to happen, but I do not doubt you. I think the root of the issue is that I have completed separated this dialog window from the sequence. There have been reports in the past that this dialog, dues to windows issues might actually prevent the end of sequence actions from running if it hangs or does not auto close etc. The latest version of SGPro will run end of sequence actions no matter what happens with this dialog box.
I think I found the issue and it did not show in pre-release testing because it seems timing related. In other words, the dialog and sequence are no longer really related or dependent on one another. I think that what can happen is that the sequence can decide to continue just milliseconds before the dialog closes and the user’s decision on running end of sequence actions is not mapped properly. Anyhow… next beta ensures this disconnect cannot happen.
BTW I just noticed my initial report labeled me as IDDAN, which is a screen name I use from time to time. I am the same person as my replies which labels me as Daniel_T. It may be the fact that I made the report from my astro computer where I am logged in on SGP and replied from my main computer which logs me into the forum through google. Anyway IDDAN = Daniel_T
