SGP (up to date) with PHD2 was working well but recently (not aware of making any changes) SGP will autofocus and center on the object and the autoguiding sequence SEEMS to be working well, but the image sequence doesn’t start (just autoguides without imaging the object for several minutes) and then I get an error message that the autoguiding didn’t resume, and the sequence tries to recover, but always fails.
The time it failed was yesterday close to 10:55 PM
It looks like the connection to PHD2 is solid and the logs show active communication from PHD2. I can see several changes you made to the aggressiveness configuration whilst awaiting PHD2 to report it is guiding. From SGPro’s perspective, the last thing PHD2 reports is that it is settling the mount based on whatever settings you have there.
from PHD2: {"Event":"SettleBegin","Timestamp":1730178023.210,"Host":"EAGLE4S0272","Inst":1}
There is no communication between this and SGPro’s timeout error. When you say it’s guiding, does PHD2 report as such within 10 minutes of SGPro asking it to start? PHD2, when its own internal settle is done, will emit a message stating so and SGPro never sees one.
You may want to start by checking on your PHD2 settle settings. If it persists, it would be beneficial to correlate the SGPro logs with the PHD2 logs as well so we can have both sides of the “story” here.
