SGPro 3.0 does not start up

My SGPro does not start anymore.
Could you help me out please?

We’ll need more info. Are you getting an error, do you see anything? Can you post the log if there is one?

Similar problem here, not sure if I should start a new thread.

Clean installation of SGP3.0.0.7. I just bought a v3 license, there was no previous installation of v2 or v3 on the laptop. Windows 10.

At startup it goes to “Initializing API” for a second or two and then crashes. I did not license the software yet as I could not start it.

Log is attached.

when i reinstall version 2.6.0.24 everything works fine.
Installing SgPro 3.0 again gives the error again : see screenshot.

Are you using a default profile?

Can you try uninstalling and removing everything from:
C:\Users\YourUserName\appdata\local\SequenceGenerator

You may want to backup that directory as it contains your profiles. Then reinstall SGP3 after everything has been uninstalled and removed.

Also just to verify you also have ASCOM installed?

OK, got mine working. I am sure it had nothing to do with the profile as I installed SGP 3.0 on a new laptop, i.e. without having SGP installed previously.

This is what I did:

  1. Removed 3.0
  2. Installed 2.6, it worked fine but it complained about custom display scaling
  3. Installed 3.0 again, it was not working
  4. Set display scaling to Windows default scaling
  5. 3.0 started fine.

I tried setting back the custom display scaling again and 3.0 still works.

Hopefully that helps someone else.

One problem though, the fonts look blurry with any kind of scaling, Windows default or custom. The fonts in the other applications and even on the SGP title bar look fine but inside SGP are blurry, even menus. Any ideas? I could post an image in a separate thread.
