When I set the temperature for my camera, it seems like SGP just throws the throttle to 100% and then tries to slowly adjust downward until it finds a suitable adjustment. Is there a way to make it gradually work it’s way up from 0? When the weather is already -20C, I don’t need my camera going to -40C before it finds it only needs to be at 5-10%.

Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about this. We can only ask for a temperature… then it’s up to your camera (driver) to decide how to get there (what power to use etc).
That statement assumes you are already using SGPro’s TEC cooldown / warmup over time feature.

Talk to your camera manufacturer. They might know more about how the camera temperature is controlled.
