Time Constraints via calculated astronomical twilight

One nice feature upgrade to the time constraints would being having the option for SGP to use the location info in the user profile to update the time constraints start/stop value to the locations beginning/end of astronomical twilight.

I use the time constraints all the time to end a nights imaging run at the start of astronomical twilight. But sometimes I forget to update it after a few weeks and then it ends the imaging run too early/late. Like last night I had it still set for 4:15am to end here at 42N when it should of been 4:48am…so I missed out on a couple more subs!

Granted I know others image deep into astro twilight, at least this feature would get them close to start and they can manually adjust. My vision for this feature would be just a check box that would calculate the proper time at the start of a sequence or when a sequence file is loaded and then populate the field. Maybe a button too that could recalculate and populate it on demand?

Thanks for considering this. Hope others would find this helpful and back it.

Pete

I would find this feature (to be able to start and stop coolers, mounts, image acquisition very helpful. Voyager did this but, now I am an SGP user.

Hi there, this actually is on the SGPro 4.5 backlog (along with many other things as well). The focus of 4.5 is not big new features but rather smaller quality of life items. SGPro 4.6 will resume with several new features we have planned.
