Two small requests re: installer and user manual

Ken/Jared, I have two small requests I’d like you guys to consider:

  1. In the installer, would you consider adding an option to generate a desktop icon for the application?

  2. In the PDF user manual, would you consider adding a version number or creation date to either the front page of the manual or the file name? The only way I have to tell the versions apart is (1) the copyright date and (2) the number of pages and those are not definitive.

Neither is Earth-shattering, but both are useful. Thanks.
