"When target starts" Options Not Set

Hi Ken,

After successfully importing a target with both import options checked, the “when target starts” options is set to “do not move to location”.

What is it that you are importing from in this case?

Starry Night format, C2A produced. It used to work on v. 1498. Does C2A format work now?

Kent

I just checked and the previous problem with C2A format appears to work now. However, it has the same problem as the Starry Night issue reported above.

Yep, C2A has been in the beta for a while. I’ve got a fix coming in for the other issue noted here.

Hi Ken,

Your latest change works fine on v 1557. Switch settings now load. Thanks!

Still have this problem however. I manually created 6 entries for 3I/ATLAS (different names for each) and set them all to “Slew and then center on location”. I manually added another entry at the bottom and moved it to the top. The others were all set to “Do not move to location” after doing this.

Unless I misunderstand, I followed these direction precisely and adding a target manually and moving it to the top (via right-click > move to top) did nothing to alter the settings for the just-previously-imported targets. Am I doing it right?

Hi Ken,

I had the problem using v1543. It seems to work correctly on v1554 which I’m now using. I doubt you changed anything in that area so I am at a loss to explain why it didn’t work before. I used to see it happen fairly frequently as evidenced by the scope tracking on the previous object FOV. I always check now when I add an object and move it around in the list.

Anyway, thanks for looking at it and cross it off the list of issues.
