Been running SGP for four years on my Dell windows laptop. It experience a major crash. Purchased a new Dell running Windows 11. Got program downloaded but SGP will not recognize either my SBIG nor my QSI devices. Both cameras have the Kodak 683 chip. Is windows 11 causing these issues. I’m out of luck until I can get these devices recognized. Help please
If you have also installed your SBIG and QSI drivers and ASCOM drivers, then the ASCOM profile explorer should at least confirm that these devices are recognized by ASCOM. SGP should then also recognize your devices.
Thanks - got SGP to finally recognize my SBIG unit but no luck on QSI - going to contact ATIK to see if they can provide me with their best option on drivers since they acquired QSI a few years back - sigh!!
