My EAF reads 28000 in the ASCOM driver, but when I hook up to it in SGP, I get a reading of 37000
Any ideas? I have had no problem with this in other software.

Is this, both starting from zero or after the system has ‘reconnected’ at a later date ? and are the two bits of software using the same step size ?
I would suspect it’s the latter, as the temperatures are reading the same…
Do you have “Reverse” also selected in the SGP settings for the focuser? If so, SGP will effectively “reverse” the scale of your focuser.
Thanks,
