Error pointing eq6

I’ve set up SGP so that it will capture M31 until around 1 AM, then move to the Horsehead Nebula. Unfortunately, something is failing, and I never get any photos of the nebula. The sky is clear, and the mount is set up correctly according to your guide.

As far as I can tell, the switch to the horsehead test target around 0100, seemed to go ok, but PHD2 had trouble reacquiring the guide star after the slew. Is it something that is consistently reproducible other than this one night?
