Error upon opening SGP on brand new W10 laptop

My previous capture laptop which never gave me any issues crapped the bed. I’ve just booted up the replacement w10 laptop and cannot use SGP.

I have freshly installed .NET
I have freshly installed ASCOM 6.4
I have freshly installed the newest SGP.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled all of these programs.

When I boot up SGP I get this error

I’m also getting this error as well. When I try to open a sequence and then hit cancel (due to not having any since SGP wont run right) when I close I get another error.

At this point I am factory wiping the laptop.

I downloaded ASCOM and SGP on my editing computer that normally doesnt have either of these on it. Installed both and had no issues. So the issue is distinctly on the new laptop, and its also not a matter of me choosing the wrong order. It must be a hardware thing.

So I’m wiping the laptop entirely and starting anew.

Although I uninstalled Mcafee before doing anything on the new laptop, AND made sure SGP had access through the firewall. I have a sneaking suspicion that may be the cause of my problem

I figured it out. It was a VS C++ redist conflict. I deleted all of them and reinstalled. Works great.
