Sequence start and end times

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me with this.

Tonight I’d like to collect a few more subs of NGC3628. I’d like to set the sequence end time at 01:30. However, if I enter 01:30 in the target ‘end at’ field, it states ‘today’.

If i enter 22:30 in the target ‘start at’ field and enter 01:30 in the target ‘end at’ field, it still states ‘today’. So at present, I have a target starting at 22:30 today and ending at 01:30 today.

thanks for any help.

in cases like this I click on the “Planning” link in the dialog box where you’re entering times, and use the left and right mouse buttons to set the start and end times. I can then tweak them in the dialog box.

Start and end times are sometimes confusing because they are relative dates. It is not possible to assume that a start date should always be in the future so we operate on what’s called an “SGPro day” which is really just a 24 hour period starting and ending at 10 am. In terms of today / tomorrow calculations, it really doesn’t matter too much if, during planning, it states today or tomorrow because that value will change dynamically as the day progresses.
