How do I “+1” an existing request?

A “notes” column in the new Sequence windows on a per-event basis would be nice. I currently use the Suffix field to keep track of how many images I still need for each filter. A more generic “notes” field would be better, especially if it could be made wider. The “Sequence Notes” doesn’t work for this scenario.

Taking notes for target

Hi there, I know this is a small favor to ask, but - Is there a way to add possibility to write notes for target? I have a lot targets in my sequence and somtimes I forgot what was sepcific target, in what conditions I must be to acquire lights or something like constellation I will be very gratefull for such possibility. Auto Focus:
Would be nice to have more intelligence in when a focus run is needed. In addition to the comment below, I usually do a manual focus while waiting for the scope to cool down and when starting the sequence, it always focuses even if the last and current temp are the same.

Don't refocus if within specified range

I occasionally have to Abort a sequence and start over. When doing so, it always refocuses, even if the last and current temps are within the 1 degree I specified for needing refocus. It would be nice if the “Autofocus before sequence start (not on resume)” only did so if the temperatures are out of range.

Better logic on the focus position of the first focus of a sequence would be nice. Possibly keep track of the last X number of focus point/temperature pairs for each filter, and go to the average position on the first focus of a sequence. Being able to pre-populate the focus point/temperature table from prior log files would be nice.

Simple Autofocus Feature

I wonder if the following feature could be considered? If there is already a way of doing this, please accept my apologies for bothering you. (And please let me know how!) Following a night’s imaging, my focuser has usually racked a fair way inwards from the position it started in at the beginning of the session. When I start imaging the following night, it is usually too far inwards (from the previous nights imaging) to get a decent focus run straight off. So, at the start of every session…

Last Focus Temp - set to average of begin and end of focus

The “Last Focus Temp” value in the Focus Control is the temperature at the END of the focus run. I suggest it be the average of the beginning and end temperatures, which is more likely when the best focus value was found (usually about 1/2 way through the focus run). In the first couple hours of the night at my observatory it’s not uncommon for the temp to drop 1/2 degree C between the start and end of the focus run.

Quicker subsequent focuses

I use 7 Auto Focus Data Points with a camera that takes about 15 seconds to download an image. IIRC, The Sky X will focus with fewer Data Points after the initial focus. It would be nice if SGPro could do the same, possibly based on the difference in current temperature and last temperature, i.e., the smaller the difference the fewer Data Points needed.

Image History window improvements

Improvements to Image History window

It would be nice if the window size, window position, and column widths in the Image History window would be remembered. My file names are always long and I have to resize that column, “stealing” width from the wider-than-needed “Foc Pos” and “Temp (C)” columns. Also, it would be nice if images could be sorted by time, not only file name.

Web page request
This isn’t for any release, but it would be really nice if posts could be marked as “Completed” or “Implemented” or something similar, and not appear in search results by default. A lot of Feature Requests have been implemented, but having them appear in searches wastes time.
