ZEQ 25 Home Position via POTH

ZEQ 25 drivers do not have ‘set park’ capability. At present, that means no practical way to do unattended imaging with it. I do notice that POTH’s ‘Home’ button sends the mount to the zero position and stops tracking. Is there some way to programmatically access the ‘Home’ feature either through scripts or otherwise in these situations?

I solved my issue. I know that I could’ve just stopped tracking the mount at the end of the sequence, but I wanted a way to return it to the home position in case I decide to place a flat panel , build a small observatory box, etc. In the end, I wrote a C# executable to send the mount home as well as return the mount position and tracking state. I will also add in some notification options in the event things don’t go as planned. The other thing this will allow is a pseudo parking routine for this little mount…fun stuff!
